This song displays all the same vocal qualities as heard in the song you're reviewing, but also contains some possible pointers to his untimely passing in 1977.

That’s one hell of a truck right there. They did a 4 part harmony and overdubbed multiple vocal tracks for each harmony to create a choir effect.
